Previously, we were talking about the Samsung Cetus featuring Windows phone 7. Now, we are looking at another Windows phone 7 handset by LG. Externally this device is pretty decent looking. However, it doesn’t guarantee the internal.

LG C900 features two capacitive touch buttons below the screen and one chrome windows key under that. The whole device cover in matte black. Although it’s no shine and shimmery but at least it won’t attract fingerprints everywhere. The LG C900 will go to AT&T without a doubt.

You can’t keep a good feature down for too long. Or, in this case, segregated to specific mobile Operating Systems. Google Maps has been updated to 4.1, and with it comes support for Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 devices. Which, if we can run a quick calculation in our head, means a literal ton of people just got a much-desired update to their favorite mapping system.

It’s really simple to use on your device, too. After you open your newly updated Google Maps, you’ll just hit the call button, and you’ll see the familiar microphone pop up. You can use your voice to search for specific addresses, a particular business, or for a certain place you’re interested in. And, just as you’d expect from Google Maps, it’s a pretty robust system, so you should be able to find what you’re looking for.

The only bad part, so to speak, is that the system is only compatible with English and Mandarin Chinese. Though, with the English side of things, it does support multiple accents, so that’s something. The download is available right now from the mobile version of Google Maps, by accessing it through your phone’s browser. So, if you want to start talking to your phone more often, here’s another option for you.

While there isn’t any confirmed detail schedule for the next Windows Mobile OS, a great find from istartedsomething is revealing a mystery “Phone” device. Strings of “%Phone.DeviceDesc% = ZuneMTPZUSB, USBVID_045E&PID_0640″ has been found inside the Zune software driver’s inf file. So what’s up with Microsoft with the 3 lines of “Zune Phone” string in 3 different product ID? We can expect to see an official showcase in the coming Mobile World Congress next month.

Resco officially announced the release of Resco Explorer 8.0, new version of a popular file manager uniting and utilizing all the key features of each Windows Mobile device. Most of the changes go head to head with improvements of not a long time released new version of Resco Photo Manager. Resco team enriched Explorer with the popular feature of uploading images to Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, Picasa, MySpace and Photobucket. Next main improvement is the introduction of thumbnails view mode. It improves navigation and helps to find the right image. The last improvement affects Explorer’s Today plug-in. The old one has been replaced by a new totally customizable plug-in with Task Manager and other handy tools.
