It may not be the HTC Desire, but at least it’s better than a dumbphone. The LG Mystique is a rebranding of a clamshell flip phone that’s already been released on another network. Previously known as the LG Lotus Elite, it’s definitely one of the most interesting handsets out there, and could easily give the Kin One a run for its money in some kind of talent show.
Features wise, they’re unchanged from the Lotus Elite. The Mystique features a 2MP camera on the back, stereo speakers, Bluetooth support, touch-based music controls on the front face of the device, and support for 16GB MicroSD cards. US Cellular did manage to convince LG that they should add some extras to the US Cellular version, and now there’s more touch capabilities to the front display of the device.
Furthermore, the entire User Interface has been altered for US Cellular customers. If you’re still interested, and if you can peel your eyes away from that image, the Mystique will be available starting May 23, once you sign your life away for a new contract. It will set you back after a mail-in rebate as well. Anyone interested?
