Well, you can never sit down for too long when it comes to the mobile phone industry. When something breaks, there’s usually going to be a landslide of (usually) pertinent information coming right behind it. At least, that’s the story with the BlackBerry Pearl 9100, which has seen a lot of publicity over the last few weeks. This time around, we’ve got for you the contract price of the (still) unannounced device.
Heading to Rogers and Bell, the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 will cost .99 on a new three-year contract. At least, if we’re going to read this internal inventory screenshot like we should, that’s what we’re lead to believe. So, if the 9.99 price tag is too much to swallow, then hopefully signing that three-year contract doesn’t bother you all that much.
At this point, we’ve got: hands-on time with the device, screenshots of the dummy handsets, leaked inventory images of the full, contract-free price, and now what the device will cost on contract. But, we’re still missing one very, very important thing. Confirmation that the device exists from Research In Motion. That’s right, it’s still not official. So, Waterloo, let’s step it up, shall we?
